The EOSD2017 - First European Conference on OpenSees will take place on 19-20 June 2017 at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, in Porto, Portugal.
The conference aims to gather new users and assemble the OpenSees community in Europe to discuss some of the new features. The Programme will include some of the more active OpenSees developers, thus contributing for productive and interesting discussions.
Confirmed keynote speakers include Anastasios Sextos, André Barbosa, Asif Usmani, Dimitrios Lignos, Dimitrios Vamvatsikos, Frank McKenna, Khalid Mosalam, Lu Xinzheng, Pedro Arduino and Theodore Karavasilis.
The conference will also present officially the European OpenSees Association (EOS) and its objectives.
Researchers interested in earthquake induced multi-hazard analysis of structures using OpenSees, Professional Engineers, Researchers, Graduate and Post-Graduate Students are invited to attend the workshop to discuss basic and complex case-study examples as well as to contact with the new software features and ongoing developments.
