(1º) NOMINATION:

If you wish to come to study at our School of Architecture (ETSAM) as an Erasmus or a Bilateral Agreement student, first you must be officially nominated by your home university.
In order to carry out your nomination, your home university must send us the attached nomination PDF [pdf] to entrantes.intercambio.arquitectura@upm.es with all the required information.
- Name and surname.
- Passport or ID number.
- Email address.
- Period of stay: 1st Semester, 2nd Semester, Full Year.
- Date of birth.
Our nomination deadlines are the following:
- 1st Semester: until May 15th.
- 2nd Semester: until November 15th.
(2º) APPLICATION:
Once we have received your nomination, we will ask you to send us the following documents:

- Foreign Students Register: [pdf].
- Photo.
- Copy of Passport or national ID.
- Copy of Learning Agreement (PDF) signed by the coordinator of your home university.
- Insurances:
- Health Insurance.
- Accident Insurance.
- A clause for the repatriation of the body in the event of death (normally, this clause is included in the Accident Insurance).
We can recommend the following insurance, which covers all the requirements: https://oncampus.es/en/
The deadlines to send us the documents mentioned above are the following:
- 1st Semester: until June 15th.
- 2nd Semester: until December 15th.
(3º) LANGUAGES:
All our classes are in Spanish. We do not require a language certificate, but we strongly recommend at least a B2 level.

Please find below the required documents, which you must send to entrantes.intercambio.arquitectura@upm.es
Los periodos para enviar la documentación son los siguientes:
- Application form (free-movers): [pdf].
- Passport (copy).
- Learning Agreement: [doc].
- Certificate from your home university stating the subjects or credits you have already passed.
- Motivation letter, in Spanish or English, in which you must state the reasons why you wish to study at the ETSAM-UPM. The letter must also include the list of subjects you will wish to take.
- Curriculum Vitae (two pages max).
- Letter of Recommendation from a professor at your home university (optional).
- Our School requires a portfolio to visiting (free-mover) students.
- Insurance:
- Health Insurance.
- Accident Insurance.
- A clause for the repatriation of the body in the event of death (normally, this clause is included in the Accident Insurance).
